Comprehensive Building Studio | High Density Housing | Vancouver

The Comprehensive Building Studio will focus on one project for the duration of term.  The program will be high density, multi-family housing in central Vancouver.  While the urban design implications will be closely considered, the project will be followed from conceptual development through to building detail.  The methodology of the studio will employ multiple architectural scales and modes of representation.  It is anticipated that the dwelling units will be a focus of the studio’s attention, with attention to innovations in organization, programming, day lighting and ventilation.  Required for all students in the Master of Architecture, this studio will be offered in the second term of the Winter Session.
