Employing both manual and digital drawing tools, this course introduces theories and techniques fundamental to architectural representation and the principles of spatial organization. Over the course of the term students are expected to develop critical sensibilities through recursive, studio-based exercises that examine several subjects, including scale and the body, the analytic sketch, measure and proportion, and orthographic, axonometric and perspective projection. Course objectives are fulfilled through lectures, studio labs, readings and exercises.
