The Landscape Architecture Program offers two graduate professional and research programs.

Master of Landscape Architecture [MLA]
The MLA degree is a 3-year professional program accredited by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects [CSLA] and the American Society of Landscape Architects to meet the requirements and standards for professional licensure in the field.

Master of Advanced Studies in Landscape Architecture [MASLA]
The MASLA degree is a 2-year research program for students with a background in landscape architecture, architecture or design and an interest in examining and researching specific issues relating to landscape, place and environment.

The Program welcomes applications from Canadians and international applicants. Students admitted to our programs come from diverse disciplines and backgrounds. More recently, we have students with undergraduate degrees in the Arts, Science, Engineering, Forestry, Commerce, Fine Arts, etc…Before applying, we encourage you to review the information regarding admission requirements for both the MLA and MASLA programs and to learn all you can about the profession of landscape architecture.
