Location
MCML 378, 3rd floor south wing.

Access
A door access code (available from LARC / ENDS program office in MCML 370) is required to enter. A user login (see instructions below) is required to log onto the computers in this lab.

To acquire a user login for the machines in MCML 378: LARC and ENDS students are preauthorized to register for user logins.  Others, enrolled in ENDS or LARC courses, for example, must first obtain authorization to register via the LARC / ENDS program office in MCML 370.

Once authorized to register, go to one of the six machines labeled ‘terminal server’ in MCML 194. Click on the ‘sign up’ tab and follow instructions displayed. A student number and email address will be required. Once registered, allow approximately 20 minutes for the system to update before attempting to log on to the computers in MCML 378.

Introduction
LARC computer and digital media lab includes 18 PC workstations running the MS Windows operating system.

All machines run Microsoft office, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS and Google SketchUp.

Machines Nos. 3 to 5 and 10 to 16 run AutoCAD 2006.

All machines connect to grayscale and small format color printers.

Machine Nos. 15 and 16 connect to large format plotters.

Machine Nos. 13 to 16 are equipped with CD burners.

Wired network connections for laptops are available.

All computers are restarted at 4a.m.

Availability
24 hours  a day, 7 days a week.

No charge. Printing fees vary.
