Description

The comprehensive design studio focuses on a single project for the duration of term to synthesize relationships between spatial ideas, program, material, and technical systems.

Studying precedents that help you situate your project within a context of architectural forms and ideas, you will develop your agenda though building materials and systems. You will also investigate technical systems that are applicable to the site and program and develop their relationships. You will employ multiple design scales, ranging from site to assembly, and modes of representation.
