Description

In the first course in the design media sequence, you will develop and practice skills in graphic representation. You will study the basic principles of drawing, imaging, and composition to describe objects. You will also explore how scale affects representation.

Subjects and scales will range from utensils to furniture, the body to building, and city fabric to landscape. Tutorials will focus on skill development, especially in the use of digital tools with an emphasis on CAD and graphic design applications. You will also have the opportunity to develop your ability to use laser cutters.
