Description

This course explores the history of building as the history of technology and technique. In this course, you will investigate scales ranging from the body to buildings and sites. Projects will give you the opportunity to discover how design concepts evolved into built objects by examining the relationship between concept design, material selection, and fabrication methods. Through the analysis of precedent studies, you will start to develop your career-long inventory of different systems that you can draw upon for future projects.
