Description

The introductory landscape architecture design studio focuses on the development of form and space-generating skills, techniques, and practices. You will analyze, engage, and imagine landscape spaces through a series of problems that explore design strategies at the human scale.

Approaching design as an iterative process, you will investigate and manipulate the spatial and tectonic qualities of landscape architecture. By adapting a basic vocabulary of landscape types and elements, you will develop spatial literacy, independent design thinking, and creative problem solving skills.
