Leila Araghian

Diba Tensile Architecture, Tehran, Iran

Iranian architect, Leila Araghian, holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of British Columbia. In 2005, she co-founded Diba Tensile Architecture, specializing in the design, production, and installation of membrane structures.

Leila was the chief architect and designer of the Tabiat Pedestrian Bridge in Tehran. The bridge, which opened in late 2014, has won several prizes, including the 2016 Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
