The Body Politick: The Art & Architecture of Bruno Freschi
DATEJun 28 2018 - 10:00am to Aug 30 2018 - 5:00pm
1986 was a threshold year for the City of Vancouver. From May through to October the city was host to world famous Expo. Bruno Freschi was the architect for this world wide event and spearheaded both the economic growth of this city and also a unique architectural style; one which focused on sacred space and a non-hierarchical world view. This exhibition looks back to Expo exhibiting Freschi’s architectural drawings which have become part of the permanent collection at the Vancouver City Archive.
The exhibition’s opening night will be held on June 28 within the museum from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., where light refreshments will be served. Admission is free.
