LARC 501

LARC 501 is the first studio for landscape architecture students. For many, it also serves an introduction to design in general and helps to develop a visual skill set, a critical discourse, and spatial literacy.

The final project asked to develop a coherent design for the North Plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery. The goal was a clearly articulated proposal that was both conceptually strong and grounded in the conditions of the site.
