Robson Art Park is a design concept exploring the idea of landscape performance. The project engages with the guidelines set out by the city of Vancouver in their approach to public space outlined in the West End Community Plan and more recently in the Places for People Downtown. This imagined space sits at the end of Robson Street's commercial shopping strip. Upon approaching the site, visitors will see a series of art installations active on the edges of the plaza. The sidewalk extends into the site from the corner of the street allowing pedestrians to look down at the stage below which hosts temporary interactive public art installations. From the viewing deck people can descend down a spiral staircase into the main area where they will become a part of the performing landscape.
