You will examine the factors that collectively lead to the design of relevant and appropriate thermal, atmospheric, and luminous environments for different building types.
You will develop an awareness of the impact of climate on the design of buildings and an understanding of how buildings provide environmental control. You will be able to critique the environmental control systems of buildings and to formulate an appropriate environmental strategy for a building and integrate it within the broader context of architectural design.
