SALA alumni often find their design education allows them to explore unanticipated tangents following graduation. This can mean applying their design skills to a wide range of scales that stretch beyond their discipline; assisting professional or community organizations in need of leadership or starting new ones; or entering entirely new professions. TANGENTS brings back to school a diverse group of nine SALA alumni in different stages of their careers to discuss their experiences.

In this first panel, alumni describe working at multiple scales, often stretching traditional notions of their discipline.

Moderators: Daniel Roehr and Selina Chau
