GTA | ARCH 577C/DES 450I: Coding for designers
Overview of duties
Attend class, provide some in-class tutorial assistance (virtual), provide administrative support (gather information for students, facilitate grouping of students, provide logistical support), and provide advice and critical feedback to students outside of class (up to 2 hrs/week)
Qualifications
Current SALA student who has successfully completed ARCH 517 or equivalent. Applicants must be organized and willing to learn course material in advance in order to provide assistance to students during class. Applicant must have strong interpersonal skills and must be able to convey technical knowledge in an understandable manner. Applicants must have a solid understanding of Rhino. Grasshopper experience is a plus. Applicants must have experience with object oriented programming in Python or another OOP focused language. Knowledge of Rhino / Grasshopper scripting is a plus.
