GTA | DES 232: Material Culture
Overview of duties
Responsibilities will include preparing course materials, leading and managing discussions within the sessions, and grading assignments, quizzes and exams. Must be available during class time and have an interest in teaching and interacting with undergraduate students. Some of the work will be outside of the regular class hours.
Qualifications
Must be a student in the Landscape Architecture or Architecture graduate programs. Mastery of the course academic material. Ability to help students actively learn. Ability to explain subject matter clearly and logically. Ability to effectively lead discussion groups that facilitate student learning. Ability to effectively assists student learning by enabling different sets of skills, including oral and verbal communications, problem solving, critical thinking, numeracy, teamwork, leadership, planning.
