The SALA lecture season begins with a book launch of Leslie Van Duzer’s book showcasing the career of fellow faculty member Bill Pechet on January 14 at Inform Interiors.
The lecture series continues on the theme of Climate Change with SALA alumnus Natalie Telewiak, Principal at Michael Green Architecture here in Vancouver, speaking at Inform on January 21. Our second Faculty/Alumni Roundtable of the year will feature 3 SALA Faculty and 1 alum on February 25 on campus. The Cornelia Hahn/Webb Lecture will feature Chris Reed, principal at Stoss in Boston, on March 11 at UBC Robson Square. The series ends with the Joyce Drohan Travel Award event on March 18 with the announcement of the 2026 recipient, a presentation from the 2025 recipient Hemi Patel, and SALA Alum Annie Dahan.
Our events are free and all are welcome to attend, although all events are ticketed. The events at Inform open for sign-up one-week prior to the event, and the others will open a month prior to the event for sign-up via Eventbrite.
