GTA | ARCH 533: Environmental Systems and Controls II
Overview of duties
Assist in the grading of assignments and projects, and facilitate preparation of teaching material. Some involvement with (virtual) class tours and class tutorials will be expected. Holding office hours with students to field questions on course assignments and course material will also be expected.
Qualifications
Must be a current PhD student. Must have successfully completed ARCH 513 and 533 or equivalent. Strong interest in green building design is preferred, with preference to candidates with prior professional and/or research experience in the green buildings sector. Experience with Rhino Grasshopper is useful, but not required. Candidate should possess a demonstrated ability to effectively lead discussion groups which facilitate student learning by enabling different sets of skills, including oral and verbal communications, problem solving, critical thinking, numeracy, teamwork, leadership, planning.
