GTA | ARCH 541/LARC 551: Professional Practice
Overview of duties
Mark exams, quizzes, assignments, and/or project reports and invigilate exams. GTA will also assist with quiz preparation and upload to Canvas.
Qualifications
Must be able to be present during class Tuesday + Thursday 11-12:30. A PhD, MASA, MASLA student who is studying under a SALA faculty member with at least 1 year of professional experience in the practice of landscape architecture or architecture is preferred. Ability to help students actively learn by offering suggestions on course materials to aide their projects. Ability to explain subject matter clearly and confidently. Excellent written and oral communication to be able to communicate effectively in a tactful manner. Ability to effectively assist student learning by enabling different sets of skills, including oral and verbal communications, problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, planning. Familiarity with Zoom and Canvas required.
