GTA | ARCH 503 (formerly 597F): Architecture and Society Through the Ages

Winter 2026 term 1 2 open positions 85 hours total, 6.5 hours per week at $38.65/hour

Overview of duties

Prepare and moderate two discussion sessions a week with two groups of up to 15 students; Respond to student inquiries; Attend planning meetings with instructor; Aid instructor in posting class content online. Mark essay proposals and essays. Number of positions will be based on applicant qualifications and enrolment.

Qualifications

Completion of required MArch history-theory sequence or undergraduate degree in architectural or art history is required. Will also consider March candidate with undergraduate degree in the humanities. Should have excellent communicating skills as demonstrated in the sample paper. Some teaching experience preferred.
