GTA | DES 430: Environment, Urban Form, and Infrastructure
Overview of duties
Attend course lectures, track participation and attendance. Aid with preparation and delivery of course materials, including blog administration and logistical support. Facilitate small group and large class-wide discussions on course content and readings. Participate in reviewing assignment submissions and provide student support via office hours; assist with fieldtrips.
Qualifications
Current MLA students may apply. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in environmental design, urban forestry, or related fields.
Applicants must be responsible and highly organized, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to facilitate effective student learning and encourage critical engagement with course materials. Demonstrate strong design capabilities, particularly in analog and digital drawing. Must be comfortable leading student groups and presenting tutorials.
Motivated, enthusiastic, and supportive individuals are encouraged to apply. Applicants with previous TA experience (minimum 1-2 years) are highly preferred.
