PE-77, the flagship building of Phanes Industries, envisions the future of DNA testing laboratories and human genetics. The facility integrates a sample collection area, a PCR lab, and a bioinformatics sector, alongside public circulation spaces and theatres. As a whole, PE-77 functions as a factory for producing genetically optimized humans while presenting this process as a highly coveted spectacle.

The project’s narrative delves into themes of financial elitism, genetic class stratification, and the use of speculative building materials engineered from human DNA. By doing so, it aims to critically examine the future architecture of human genetics and provoke reflection on the ethical challenges arising from advancements in biotechnology.
