GTA | DES 323: Histories in Landscape Architecture

Winter 2025 term 2 Up to 2 open positions 58.5 hours total, approximately 4.5 hours per week at $38.65/hour

Overview of duties

Attend lectures; revise and maintain course related material; help students with course-related assignments; proctor tests, midterms, and quizzes; and give an occasional lecture.

Qualifications

Successful completion of LARC 522/DES 323 is required. MLA student with a humanities or history undergraduate degree is preferred. Prior experience as a teaching assistant is an asset. Excellent written communication skills are required to provide prompt and clear guidance and feedback to students on course material and course-related assignments. Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively in support of interactive class activities. Ability to use distance learning platforms such as video conferencing. Able to provide support in producing digital presentation materials.
