This course explores the transformative changes occurring in cities worldwide, driven by three interlinked phenomena: declining birth rates, rural-to-urban migration, and rising inequality.
We will unpack the evolving context for future urban designers, examining the implications for urban form, function, and social responsibility.
The course begins with lectures and readings to build a foundational understanding. Students will then contribute to the discourse through their own research, focusing on a specific aspect of the broader topic for in-depth study.
