Assistant Professor Fionn Byrne has received the Excellence in Studio Teaching Award (Junior Level) at the 2020 Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA) Awards.

The award recognizes Byrne’s “ability to direct design studio projects that demonstrate outstanding quality and/or emphasize the critical thinking and creative process.” 

CELA was established to encourage, support, and further education in the field of landscape architecture specifically related to teaching, research, scholarship, and public service. Byrne joins Kees LokmanCynthia Girling, and Ron Kellett as recent SALA winners at the awards.
