GTA | LARC 523: Landscape Architecture Theory

Winter 2024 term 2 1 open positions 40 hours total, approximately 3 hours per week at $37.53/hour

Overview of duties

Attendance in class during approximately 50% of the class time to support students with
reading and discussion preparations and questions they may have related to the assignments
and readings. Approximately the same amount of time would be allocated for gathering course
materials such as readings and case studies, and meeting with students outside of class time to
discuss course readings and content.

Qualifications

Current enrollment in a master’s level design degree program and good leadership and
communication skills are required. Candidates must have successfully completed LARC 523 in the Spring of 2020. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Applicants must have strong critical thinking skills to explain course subject matter clearly and confidently. Finally, in their application materials, candidates should demonstrate an interest in landscape theory and course subject matter.
